Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for Platte Valley Hospital in Brighton, CO. The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in an Intermediate Care Unit, coordinating with an interdisciplinary team and families.

Responsibilities include clinical assessment, care planning, delegation, documentation, and ongoing evaluation to optimize outcomes. A BSN may be required for tenure; BLS is required.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state of practice; compact licenses must be transferred within 60 days.
• BSN required within four years of hire for RNs with less than 12 months of experience.
• BLS certification for healthcare providers.

Responsibilities

• Assess physical, social, and psychological status and gather information from the interdisplinary team.
• Develop individualized care plans and involve patient and family in decisions.
• Coordinate care delivery and manage time, supplies, and resources.
• Evaluate patient response and revise plans as needed.
• Promote professionalism, ethical standards, and accurate documentation.
