Job summary

Medasource is seeking a Critical Care Registered Nurse in Texas to provide high‑level care for patients with life-threatening conditions. You will assess patients, plan and implement care, administer meds, monitor ventilators and monitors, and support families.

The role requires ACLS & BLS through American Heart Association and a Texas RN license. Eligible candidates have ICU experience and a collaborative, patient‑focused approach.

Qualifications

• ACLS and BLS certifications through American Heart Association required.
• Texas RN license (or multi-state license) required.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition and plan/implement care.
• Treat wounds and provide advanced life support.
• Assist physicians in procedures.
• Monitor vital signs and ventilator/monitor function; adjust as needed.

Job Description –

Critical care registered nurses are adept at providing such care in settings where patients have suffered a heart attack, stroke, shock, severe trauma, respiratory distress or other severe medical issues. Specific critical care nurse duties and responsibilities can include: Assessing a patients condition and planning and implementing patient care plans Treating wounds and providing advanced life support Assisting physicians in performing procedures Observing and recording patient vital signs Ensuring that ventilators, monitors and other types of medical equipment function properly/adjusting ventilator/IABP Administering intravenous fluids and medications Suctioning Collaborating with fellow members of the critical care team Responding to life-saving situations, using nursing standards and protocols for treatment Acting as patient advocate Providing education and support to patient families Critical care nurses may also care for pre- and post-operative patients. In addition, some serve as case managers and policy makers, while others perform administrative duties.

Facility Requirements

• Must have ACLS & BLS certifications, these must be attached to the submission (Must be through the American Heart Association)
• Must have Texas RN or multi-state RN license, must be attached to resume
