Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Euclid Hospital is hiring an experienced ICU RN to provide direct patient care for adults with cardiac, medical and surgical diagnoses. This part-time night-shift role emphasizes comprehensive care, careful monitoring, documentation, and collaboration with physicians and families.

The successful candidate will hold an RN license, BLS and ACLS, and have acute care experience. Relocation and loan repayment benefits may be available.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Professional Nursing (Diploma, ADN, or BSN) required.
• One year of acute care RN experience or military RN experience required.
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) and BLS/ACLS certifications typically required.

• Implement and monitor patient care plans.
• Monitor, record, and communicate patients' conditions.

About This Role

As an RN in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at Cleveland Clinic Euclid Hospital, you will provide exceptional care to adult patients with major medical, cardiac, and surgical diagnoses. What You'll Do

• Provide direct nursing care.
• Implement and monitor patient care plans.
• Monitor, record, and communicate patients' conditions.
• Evaluate, update, and revise plan of care to facilitate achievement of planned and expected outcomes.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patients' discharge needs.
• Educate patients and families with educational materials considering cultural issues and other special concerns.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatment in accordance with approved nursing protocol.

Requirements

Education:

• Graduate from an accredited School of Professional Nursing (Diploma, ADN, or BSN program) required.

Experience:

• One year of current acute care RN experience OR military RN experience required.

Licenses & Certifications:

• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification must be presented upon hire or within the first year of employment.
