Job summary

IntelliResume is seeking an experienced RN for the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) at Cleveland Clinic’s Euclid Hospital in Euclid, OH. You will provide direct nursing care to post-surgical patients, implement and monitor care plans, and coordinate their discharge needs in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements include ADN or BSN, clinically relevant RN licensure, and BLS; ACLS is preferred within six months of hire.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Professional Nursing (ADN or BSN)
• One year of acute care RN experience OR military RN experience
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification within six months of hire preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to post-surgical patients.
• Implement and monitor patient care plans.
• Monitor, record, and communicate patients’ conditions.
• Evaluate, update, and revise plan of care to achieve expected outcomes.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patients’ discharge needs.
• Educate patients and families using educational materials.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments per nursing protocol.

About This Role

What You’ll Do

• Provide direct nursing care to post-surgical patients.
