Job summary

PIH Health is seeking a Licensed Registered Nurse to coordinate the flow of clinical information during referrals and support the home health intake process. You will perform utilization review to demonstrate medical necessity and ensure appropriate hospital resource use, while building strong relationships with hospitals and physicians to drive census growth.

Based in Whittier, CA, the role requires an RN with BSN, BLS, and 3 years of RN experience, working on-site in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

• California RN License required.
• Bachelor’s in Nursing (BSN) required.
• 3 years of RN experience required.
• BLS certification by American Heart Association required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate timely flow of clinical information during referrals.
• Perform utilization review to ensure medical necessity and appropriate hospital resource use.
• Serve as primary contact between referral sources, patients and PIH Health.
• Support intake process and coordinate referrals to home health services.
• Build relationships with hospitals, physicians and community partners to drive census growth.
