Job summary

Jersey College is seeking a Registered Nurse Instructor to provide clinical instruction across long-term care, sub-acute, and acute sites. You will foster student growth, prepare progress reports, and evaluate competence within the nursing program.

Minimum MSN and valid RN license are required, with at least 3 years of RN experience. Teaching experience is a plus, and ongoing professional development is expected.

Qualifications

• MSN required; active RN license in state of practice
• Minimum of 3 years recent RN experience
• Teaching experience is a plus but not required
• Strong communication and professional nursing knowledge are essential

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical instruction at long-term care, sub-acute, and acute sites
• Create a clinical environment that supports student growth and professional development
• Prepare student progress and grade reports
• Maintain accurate attendance records
• Evaluate student competence based on program objectives
• Use evaluation tools to measure progress and competency
• Attend faculty meetings and participate in program activities
• Maintain RN Instructor qualifications through CE and training
• Perform other duties as assigned by program leadership
