Job summary

Jersey College is seeking experienced Registered Nurses with an MSN or higher to teach and mentor nursing students. The Nursing Instructor will deliver classroom, lab, simulation, and clinical instruction, evaluating student performance and guiding professional development.

Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or higher nursing degree required.
• Current, unrestricted RN license in the applicable state required.
• Minimum of 3 years of recent professional RN experience.
• Clinical experience relevant to nursing courses and clinical experiences taught.

Responsibilities

• Provide classroom, laboratory, simulation, and/or clinical instruction to LPN/PN and RN students.
• Deliver clinical instruction at long-term care, sub-acute, and acute sites.
• Evaluate student performance and provide feedback to promote learning.
• Prepare accurate progress and grade reports and maintain records.
• Collaborate with faculty, administration, and clinical partners.
