Job summary

HCA Florida Orange Park Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit, helping patients recover from stroke, orthopedic injuries, trauma, and other complex conditions.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to monitor progress, educate patients and families, and promote safety and high-quality outcomes while supporting patients’ independence and healing goals.

Qualifications

  • Current Florida RN license or ability to obtain Florida licensure.
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
  • BLS certification required.
  • Previous acute care, medical-surgical, neuro, orthopedic, or rehabilitation experience preferred.
  • Passion for teamwork and patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

  • Provide compassionate, evidence-based nursing care to patients recovering from stroke, neurological conditions, orthopedic injuries, trauma, and other complex medical diagnoses.
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including physicians, therapists, case managers, and rehabilitation specialists.

What You'll Do

As a Registered Nurse in our Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit, you will:

  • Provide compassionate, evidence-based nursing care to patients recovering from stroke, neurological conditions, orthopedic injuries, trauma, and other complex medical diagnoses.
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including physicians, therapists, case managers, and rehabilitation specialists.
  • Monitor patient progress and support individualized rehabilitation goals.
  • Educate patients and families throughout the recovery process.
  • Promote patient safety, quality outcomes, and exceptional patient experiences.
  • Advocate for patients while fostering dignity, independence, and healing.
