UW Health’s inpatient psychiatry unit at University Hospital in Madison, WI is seeking an experienced RN to join an 18-bed med/psych unit for acutely ill adults. You will work with an interdisciplinary team delivering patient-centered care in a safe, educational environment.

Qualifications

• BSN preferred.
• Six months nursing experience or current participant in UW Health's Nurse Residency Program with successful completion of Nurse Residency Orientation on unit/similar unit.
• Licensed as an RN in WI or a compact state.
• Current CPR/BLS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Practice in a safe environment on a locked 18-bed med/psych unit caring for acutely ill adult patients.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to provide patient-centered care.
• Educate patients and families to support treatment journey.
