Job summary

UW Health’s University Hospital in Madison, WI is seeking an experienced inpatient RN to join a fast-paced neurocritical care unit. You will care for critically ill adults with diverse neuro diagnoses, using advanced monitoring and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care.

The role offers 90% FTE, day/night rotating shifts, weekend and holiday rotation, with shift differentials and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Six (6) months nursing experience or current participant in UW Health's Nurse Residency Program with successful completion of the Nurse Residency Orientation on unit/similar unit required.
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of WI or compact state, on hire.
• Current CPR/BLS Certification on hire; ACLS within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Care for critically ill adult neuro patients (stroke, SAH, seizures, TBI, spinal injuries).
• Utilize neuro monitoring technologies (ICP management, EEG, advanced neuroimaging).
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team to ensure safe, high-quality care.
