Job summary

Stella Maris Inc in Towson, MD is seeking an Inpatient Hospice Registered Nurse for 7p-7:30a shifts, with a full-time role and a part-time option (48hrs biweekly) available. The position focuses on compassionate, high-quality end-of-life care within a supportive team.

You will supervise nursing assistants, coordinate patient care with families, and document records meticulously while upholding hospice standards. Requires MD RN license, CPR, and EPIC experience; hospice background preferred.

Qualifications

• Maryland RN license required.
• EPIC electronic medical records experience preferred.
• CPR certification required.
• Hospice care experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to Stella Maris residents during assigned shifts.
• Supervise and coach certified nursing assistants.
• Document medical records accurately according to established guidelines.

Inpatient Hospice Registered Nurse

Shift: 7p-7:30a

Status: Full-time 72hrs biweekly AND part-time 48hrs biweekly available.

Responsibilities

The essential function of this position is to provide nursing care to residents of Stella Maris.

DUTIES:

• Participates in assessment of patients and assists in the coordination, implementation and evaluation of care for patients and their families.
• Provides supervision and coaching to nursing assistants
• Responsible for accurate documentation of medical records according to established guidelines

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

• RN licensure in the State of Maryland
• EPIC experience strongly preferred
• Current Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification
• Prior experience in hospice strongly preferred
