Job summary

Stella Maris Inc. seeks a part-time registered nurse to provide compassionate nursing care for residents in our Mary­land facility. The role includes assessing patients, coordinating care with families, and supervising nursing assistants.

The RN must hold Maryland licensure with CPR current and EPIC experience; hospice background is preferred. Work is 7p–7:30a with robust benefits and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in Maryland required.
• CPR certification current.
• Hospice experience preferred.
• EPIC electronic medical records experience preferred.

Responsibilities

The essential function of this position is to provide nursing care to residents of Stella Maris.

DUTIES:

• Participates in assessment of patients and assists in the coordination, implementation and evaluation of care for patients and their families.


• Provides supervision and coaching to nursing assistants


• Responsible for accurate documentation of medical records according to established guidelines

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

• RN licensure in the State of Maryland


• EPIC experience strongly preferred


• Current Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification


• Prior experience in hospice strongly preferred
