Qualifications

• Requires Associate's degree or BSN in nursing from an accredited school.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and collect health data involving patient, family and other health care providers.
• Coordinate patient plan of care to ensure interventions are safe, timely and appropriate.
• Communicate clearly with patients and staff in person, by phone and in writing.
• Individualize patient and family teaching based on assessment to meet learning needs.
• Participate in evaluating nursing practice quality and improvement initiatives.
• Maintain knowledge of current nursing practice standards, laws, and regulations.
