Job summary
Endeavor Health is seeking an RN for the Neurology Unit on day shift at Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Heights, IL. The role is full-time (36 hours/week) with hours from 7:00am to 7:30pm and every other weekend required. Travel is not required.
The ideal candidate holds an Associate's degree or BSN, is licensed in Illinois, and has CPR; ACLS within 3 months of hire is required. Comprehensive benefits and incentive opportunities are available.
Qualifications
- Associate degree or BSN from an accredited school of nursing.
- Current licensure to practice nursing in Illinois.
- Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
- ACLS certification within 3 months of hire.
Responsibilities
- Provides patient assessment and collection of health data involving patient, family and other health care providers.
- Coordinates patient plan of care to ensure interventions are safe, timely and appropriate.
- Communicates clearly with patients and care teams in person, by phone and in writing.
- Individualizes patient and family teaching based on assessment.
- Participates in evaluating nursing practice through quality improvement initiatives.
- Maintains up-to-date nursing knowledge and compliance with standards.
