Job summary

Endeavor Health in Arlington Heights, IL, seeks an RN for the Inpatient Headache Unit on a per diem basis. Shift is day hours from 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., with a minimum commitment of 48 hours every 6 weeks, including weekends. Provides patient assessment, plan-of-care coordination, and strong patient education.

Requires an ADN or BSN, Illinois RN license, and AHA-CPR certification. Per diem employees are eligible for incentive pay and comprehensive benefits as described by Endeavor Health.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of an Associate's degree or BSN from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current licensure to practice nursing in the State of Illinois
• Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association

Responsibilities

• Provides patient assessment and collection of health data involving patient, family and other health care providers.
• Coordinates patient plan of care to assure interventions are consistent, safe, timely and appropriate.
• Communicates clearly and effectively with all customers, in person, on the phone and in writing.
• Individualizes patient and family teaching based on a thorough assessment to meet their specific learning needs.
• Participates in evaluating quality and effectiveness of nursing practice by participating in quality improvement initiatives.
• Maintains professional knowledge in current nursing practice standards, laws and regulations.

Hourly Pay Range: $37.25 - $57.74 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights:

• Position: RN - Inpatient Headache Unit - Per Diem
• Location: Arlington Heights, IL
• Per Diem Commitment: Level 1 - minimum of 48 hours per 6 week schedule with 24 of those 48 hours on the weekends.
• Hours: 7am - 7:30pm (Day shift)
• Required Travel: No
