AuthoraCare Collective is seeking an RN for our inpatient weekend night position at the Hospice Home in Burlington, NC. This full-time role runs Friday to Sunday, 7:30pm–8:00am, providing direct patient care and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities include assessing patient/caregiver needs, developing care plans with the physician, and offering emotional support and teaching. Licensing in NC required; one year of acute or home health experience preferred.

Formación

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Licensed as an RN in North Carolina in good standing.
• Minimum of 1 year of acute or home health experience (2 years preferred).
• Valid driver's license and automobile insurance as required by agency.

• Work with attending physician to establish and implement the medical plan of care.
• Establish and maintain therapeutic relationships, providing emotional support and teaching.

Job Summary

Assess and identify patient/caregiver problems, establish patient/caregiver care goals, and identify and implement interventions. Work with attending physician to establish and implement medical plan of care for the patient. Establish and maintain therapeutic relationship with patient and caregiver, including providing emotional support and teaching. Work closely with other members of the interdisciplinary team and communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with team members, patients, caregivers, physicians, pharmacists, and other health care professionals and community service organizations. Requirements

Education and Experience:

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• Must be currently licensed as an RN in North Carolina and in good standings with NCBON.
• One year of experience (two years preferred) in an acute or home health setting.
• Other: Valid state-issued driver's license required. Must carry automobile liability insurance at limits required by agency. Must have own transportation.
