Job summary

AuthoraCare Collective is seeking an RN for an inpatient night position at our hospice facility in Burlington, NC. The role is full-time (36 hours) with shift 7:30 pm - 8:00 am on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

Responsibilities include assessing patient/caregiver needs, coordinating with the physician on the care plan, and providing emotional support and education. Benefits include PTO, holidays, insurance, and a 403B match after 12 months.

Qualifications

• RN licensed in North Carolina (NCBON) in good standing.
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• 1 year of acute or home health experience (2 years preferred).

AuthoraCare Collective is currently seeking an RN for our inpatient night position. This position is full-time (36 hours)7:30 pm - 8:00am every Monday, Wednesday and Thursday at our in-patient hospice facility (Hospice Home) in Burlington, NC.

Job Summary:

Assess and identify patient/caregiver problems, establish patient/caregiver care goals, and identify and implement interventions. Work with attending physician to establish and implement medical plan of care for the patient. Establish and maintain therapeutic relationship with patient and caregiver, including providing emotional support and teaching.

Work closely with other members of the interdisciplinary team and communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with team members, patients, caregivers, physicians, pharmacists, and other health care professionals and community service organizations.

Requirements

Education and Experience :

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• Must be currently licensed as an RN in North Carolina and in good standings with NCBON.

One year of experience (two years preferred) in an acute or home health setting.

Other: Valid state-issued driver's license required. Must carry automobile liability insurance at limits required by agency. Must have own transportation.
