Job summary

PAM Health in Las Vegas, NV is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver, direct, and supervise patient care on the medical-surgical unit, using the nursing process and coordinating with the care team.

This role requires current RN licensure, BLS, and ACLS; ACLS required for Charge Nurses. One year of inpatient Med-Surg experience preferred, with commitment to family teaching and discharge planning.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure in the state where the hospital resides or compact licensure.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• ACLS certification required within 90 days; ACLS required for Charge Nurses.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to deliver, direct and supervise care to patients admitted to the unit.
• Plan, coordinate, and provide patient care including discharge planning and teaching for post-hospitalization.
• May perform other related duties as assigned, including Charge Nurse responsibilities (ACLS required).
