Corewell Health is seeking an Infusion Clinical Nurse to provide skilled nursing care in a team-based outpatient setting at the Sterling Heights location. The RN will apply the nursing process to develop and implement treatment plans while coordinating with the interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications include an ADN or higher, Michigan RN license, and BLS; infusion/chemotherapy experience is preferred, with a commitment to ongoing patient-family centered care.

Competenze

• ADN or higher degree in nursing required or equivalent.
• BSN preferred; if not BSN, active enrollment in BSN within 1 year of licensure and completion within 5 years.
• At least 1 year acute care RN experience required.
• Infusion and/or chemotherapy experience preferred.
• Michigan RN license required.
• BLS certification required.
• Chemotherapy/Immunotherapy certification required within 1 year of employment.

About Outpatient Clinics Corewell Health operates over 300 outpatient clinics across Michigan, bringing a multitude of care options to the communities that we serve. Scope of Work

The Infusion Clinical Nurse, under the ANA scope of practice utilizes the framework of the nursing process to provide professional nursing care by incorporating patient-family center care principles. Under the direct supervision of the Nursing leader and in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, the Registered Nurse uses clinical judgment skills to access and implement the treatment plan for patients. The RN assesses monitors, detects, plans and takes appropriate action to prevent physiological complications associated with specific health problems and/or medical treatment.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree graduate (A.D.N.) or equivalent of an accredited school of nursing, required
• Bachelor's Degree (B.S.N., M.S.N., or DNP/PhD), preferred - if not minimum BSN prepared, new graduate/nurse with less than one (1) year experience is required to enroll in an accredited BSN program within one (1) year of licensure date and complete within five (5) years required
• At least 1 year acute care RN experience, required
• Infusion and/or chemotherapy experience, preferred
• State of Michigan Registered Nurse license, required
• AHA or ARC Basic Life Support certification, required
• Chemotherapy/Immunotherapy certification, required within 1 year of employment
