Corewell Health seeks an Infusion Clinical Nurse to provide professional care under ANA scope, collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to implement treatment plans. The RN uses clinical judgment to monitor patients, prevent complications, and deliver patient-family centered care.

The role requires an associate degree or higher in nursing, active MI RN license, and relevant infusion/oncology credentials.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with an associate's degree or equivalent.
• BSN/MSN/DNP/PhD credentials required or in progress within defined timelines.
• At least 1 year of relevant acute care, emergency, or ICU nursing experience preferred.
• MI RN license required; MI driver’s license for home infusion if applicable.
• Must maintain BLS and chemotherapy/oncology certifications as listed.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care using the nursing process.
• Assess, monitor, plan, and implement treatment plans with an interdisciplinary team.
• Ensure patient-family centered care and manage potential complications.

Scope of Work

The Infusion Clinical Nurse, under the ANA scope of practice utilizes the framework of the nursing process to provide professional nursing care by incorporating patient-family center care principles. Under the direct supervision of the Nursing leader and in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, the Registered Nurse uses clinical judgment skills to access and implement the treatment plan for patients. The RN assesses monitors, detects, plans and takes appropriate action to prevent physiological complications associated with specific health problems and/or medical treatment.

Qualifications

• Required Associate's Degree Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with an associate's degree or equivalent.
• Required Bachelor's Degree B.S.N., or M.S.N., or DNP/PhD - if not minimum BSN prepared, new graduate/nurse with less than one (1) year experience is required to enroll in an accredited BSN program within one (1) year of licensure date and complete within five (5) years required. This is effective April 18, 2023.
• 1 year of relevant experience acute care, emergency, or intensive care nursing Preferred
• LIC-Registered Nurse (RN) - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire required
• LIC-Driver's License - STATE_MI State of Michigan Home Infusion Upon Hire required
• CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association Upon Hire required Or
• CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross Upon Hire required
• CRT-Chemotherapy Biotherapy - ONCC Oncology Nursing Certification Corporation Adult Infusion 1 Year required Or
• CRT-Chemotherapy Biotherapy - ONS Oncology Nursing Society Adult Infusion 1 Year
• CRT-Oncology Certified Nurse - ONCC Oncology Nursing Certification Corporation Upon Hire preferred
