Job summary

Health Advocates Network, Inc. in Chico, CA is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our infusions and chemotherapy team. This travel position offers a competitive hourly rate with travel stipends and lodging support, designed for candidates living 50+ miles away.

• Four years of acute oncology nursing experience

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for patients receiving chemotherapy and other infusion treatments.
• Assess patients before treatment and monitor vital signs and responses during and after infusions.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments according to established protocols.
• Monitor patients for side effects or adverse reactions and report concerns to the healthcare team. Educate patients on treatment instructions, potential side effects, and basic care needs.
• Maintain accurate patient records and follow established safety and infection control procedures.

Travel Package:

Travel Rate (based on 40 hours): Hourly $45.06, Stipend (Lodging $791.00 + M&I $476.00) = $1,267.00,

Total Comp: $3,069.40

Travel Eligibility: Candidates must live at least 50+ miles from the facility to qualify for Travel Pay.

Shift Details:

• Day shift, 10 hrs, start time 07:00-08:00

Nursing Specialty: Infusion RN, Chemotherapy

** Duties & Responsibilities **

• Provide nursing care to patients receiving chemotherapy and other infusion treatments.

• Assess patients before treatment and monitor vital signs and responses during and after infusions.

** Minimum Qualifications: **

• Bachelors Degree in Nursing or Associate of Science in Nursing

• Active CA license,

• Must have recent Infusion clinic experience

• Chemotherapy certification required with recent chemotherapy administration experience Four years of acute nursing experience in an Oncology setting required

• Current BLS recognition

• EPIC EMR system experience

• Additional certifications may be required

• Copy of current, completed Primary Source Verification (PSV) from the appropriate licensing board or verification agency, if required.

• Copy of all current required certifications and compliance documents (e.g., .BLS, N95 fit test, immunization records, TB test, or other client-specific requirements).
