Job summary

Health Advocates Network, Inc. in Chico, CA is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our infusions and chemotherapy team. This travel position offers a competitive hourly rate with travel stipends and lodging support, designed for candidates living 50+ miles away.

You will provide chemo/infusion care, monitor patients, and support the healthcare team in a fast-paced setting. The ideal candidate holds an active California license, a chemotherapy certification, and at least four years in

Qualifications

Active CA nursing license
Recent infusion clinic experience
Chemotherapy certification with recent administration experience
Four years of acute oncology nursing experience
Current BLS recognition

Responsibilities

Provide nursing care for patients receiving chemotherapy and other infusion treatments.
Assess patients before treatment and monitor vital signs and responses during and after infusions.
Administer prescribed medications and treatments according to established protocols.
Monitor patients for side effects or adverse reactions and report concerns to the healthcare team. Educate patients on treatment instructions, potential side effects, and basic care needs.
Maintain accurate patient records and follow established safety and infection control procedures.
