Qualifications

• Current RN license in New Jersey.

Responsibilities

• Conduct risk assessments and surveillance to identify and prevent healthcare-associated infections.
• Develop, implement, and maintain infection prevention and control policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to design and implement evidence-based infection prevention strategies.
• Provide education and training to staff on infection prevention and control measures.
• Monitor and report on infection rates and trends to identify areas for improvement.
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive infection prevention and control program, including auditing and surveillance.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve patient outcomes and reduce HAIs.
• Develop and maintain relationships with regulatory agencies and accreditation organizations.
