Job summary

Life Care Centers of America seeks a Nursing Infection Preventionist to evaluate HAI/CAI outcomes, collect and analyze data, and present actionable recommendations. You will monitor compliance with infection control standards and provide education to staff, residents, and families at the Sullivan, Missouri facility.

The role requires an RN license (Missouri), a nursing diploma, CPR, and specialized IPC training.

Qualifications

• RN with nursing diploma and active RN license in good standing.
• CPR certification required at hire or during orientation and kept current.

Responsibilities

• Serves as designated IP monitoring public health advisories from local, state, and federal agencies including the CDC.
• Leads infection prevention and control program activities; provides staff education for residents and families.
