Du Quoin Nursing & Rehabilitation in Du Quoin, IL is seeking a Registered Nurse Infection Preventionist for a full-time role. You will lead the facility's infection prevention program, educate staff, monitor trends, and partner with nursing leadership to improve resident safety and quality of care.

Ideal candidates will have an IL RN license, experience in infection prevention and long-term care, and strong organizational and communication skills.

Qualifications

• RN license required (Illinois).
• Experience in long-term care preferred.
• Infection prevention experience a plus.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the facility's Infection Prevention & Control Program.
• Conduct infection surveillance, tracking, reporting, and trend analysis.
• Educate and support staff on infection prevention practices.
• Monitor infection control practices throughout the facility.
• Support compliance with applicable infection prevention requirements.
• Participate in quality improvement and survey readiness initiatives.
• Collaborate with clinical leadership to promote positive resident outcomes.
• Provide on-call support as assigned.
