Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Develops, implements, and evaluates infection prevention and control programs.
• Conducts active surveillance and analyzes infection trends.
• Prepares and presents infection control data for medical staff committees and leadership.
• Collaborates with departments to develop and implement infection control policies and protocols.
• Provides education to staff on hand hygiene, PPE, and other control measures.
• Oversees employee immunization and TB skin test programs.
• Manages follow-up for staff exposure to bloodborne pathogens and body fluids.
• Investigates infection outbreaks and coordinates containment measures.
• Partners with the laboratory for timely reporting to health agencies.
