Lincoln Village Healthcare Center in Lincoln, IL seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide direct patient care and supervise LPNs and CNAs. The role requires a current Illinois RN license, a nursing degree, and prior long-term care experience. You will assess residents, administer medications, document care, and participate in regulatory processes.

The position emphasizes leadership, teamwork, and adherence to safety and HIPAA guidelines in a fast-paced facility environment.

Qualifications

• Illinois RN license in good standing.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN).
• Experience in long-term care or geriatric nursing preferred.
• Strong assessment, clinical, and critical-thinking skills.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Resident Care: Assess residents’ health status and develop/update care plans; Administer medications and treatments; Monitor changes and notify physicians/families as needed; Provide skilled nursing procedures per physician orders.
• Assessment & Documentation: Complete nursing assessments; Chart medications and treatments accurately; Participate in MDS and regulatory assessments; Maintain records for compliance.
• Leadership & Supervision: Supervise LPNs and CNAs; Conduct handoffs; Participate in training and evaluations; Promote teamwork and a positive environment.
• Safety & Compliance: Follow infection control and HIPAA guidelines; Respond to emergencies; Maintain a safe environment; Comply with regulations.
