St. Marys Medical Center in West Palm Beach is seeking a Registered Nurse for per diem day shifts. You will coordinate and provide safe, high-quality care using the nursing process, including assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.

The role requires RN licensure, BLS/CPR, ACLS, NIH and EKG certifications, with a focus on patient and family education and collaborative teamwork within a Level 1 trauma center environment.

• Education: Graduate of Registered Nurse Program.
• Experience: None.
• Certifications: BLS/CPR, ACLS, NIH, EKG.

Responsibilities

• Assess physical, skin, pain, fall, medications and discharge needs with appropriate interventions.
• Plan of Care is developed and implemented on admission using assessment data.
• Patient and family education provided.
• Evaluate patient responses to interventions.
• Demonstrates leadership skills.
• Assist in organizing Patient Care Activities.
