Job summary

Citadel Healthcare is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team and provide high-quality nursing care to residents. The RN is responsible for assessment, implementation, and evaluation of the care plan, including medication administration and documentation.

Qualifications

• Current CPR Certification required.
• Nursing Degree or diploma from an accredited College or University.
• Possess a current license to practice in the State as a Registered Nurse.
• 1 year of experience preferred.
• Long-Term care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides licensed care to residents as ordered by physician and in accordance with facility, federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations.
• Provides and receives nursing reports upon reporting in and ending shift duty hours.
• Ensures assigned work area is maintained in a clean and sanitary manner.
• Directs and supervises day-to-day CNA services for assigned unit to ensure care is rendered per standards.
• Administers medications and treatments as ordered by the physician.
• Charts nurses notes reflecting care provided and resident response.
• Counts controlled drugs with another nurse at shift change and notes discrepancies.
• Admits, transfers and discharges residents to meet individual needs while ensuring safety.
