Job summary

The MetroHealth System in Ohio is seeking an RN to plan, deliver and document nursing care across units. You will supervise nursing staff, observe patient conditions, and report changes while maintaining thorough documentation in line with recognized standards.

Ideal candidates hold an Ohio RN license, BLS, and preferably BSN with ACLS/PALS/PEARS; CNOR may be preferred for OR settings. A strong commitment to patient care and interprofessional collaboration is essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with Ohio RN licensure.
• Current BLS required; ACLS/PALS/PEARS preferred or obtained within defined timelines.
• BSN preferred; CNOR certification may be advantageous for OR tracks.
• Positive working relations with staff and physicians; strong documentation practices.

Responsibilities

• Plans, delivers, documents and evaluates nursing care for assigned patients per orders and standards.
• Directs activities of assigned nursing personnel in care delivery.
• Observes, assesses and reports patient condition; documents care and responses.
• Maintains accurate, timely documentation reflecting patient status and interventions.
• Upholds The MetroHealth System mission, vision, values and customer service standards.
