Job summary

Baylor University Medical Center’s Roberts 17 unit, part of Baylor Scott & White Health, is expanding to an Intermediate care unit. As an RN you will oversee patient care, develop plans, and collaborate with intensivists and APPs in a multidisciplinary team.

The role supports a Night shift: 7:00pm–7:00am, with a focus on caring for acutely ill patients and advancing clinical practice within our academic learning culture.

Qualifications

• RN license required.
• BLS certification required within 30 days of start.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• 1 year min IMCU/PCU hospital RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed clinical assessments and create care plans.
• Prioritize patient and family needs and coordinate care.
• Educate patients, families, nurses, and community members.
• Delegate tasks based on condition and team competencies.
• Maintain safety, effectiveness, and efficiency in patient care.
