Job summary

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to assess health status and develop the plan of care
• Documents patient data and interventions per policy
• Assists with procedures and monitors patient response
• Leads nursing response to emergencies and coordinates care
• Precepts new staff and participates in ongoing training
• Engages patients, families, and caregivers in care coordination
• Participates in quality improvement activities and departmental initiatives
