Job summary

Responsibilities include coordinating care, documenting accurately, and participating in education of staff and ongoing quality improvements.

Qualifications

• Minimum three (3) years of current RN clinical experience.
• Minimum two (2) years of clinical experience in area of specialty.
• Associates degree in nursing.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Registered Professional Nurse License (Georgia) required at hire.
• Basic Life Support required at hire.
• Specialty Certification at time of hire or within 1 year preferred.
• BSN degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to assess patient health status and set goals.
• Documents patient data, actions, interventions, and responses.
• Assists with procedures and monitors patient response.
• Engages patients and families in coordinating care as needed.
• Leads nursing response to medical emergencies.
• Monitors department messages and triages to physicians or staff.
