Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to assess patient health status and plan care.
• Documents patient data and responses per policy.
• Assist with procedures and monitor patient responses.
• Lead nursing response to medical emergencies.
• Educate patients and families and provide health teaching.
• Participate in quality improvement activities.
• Serve as a preceptor and mentor for new staff.
• Perform advanced procedures under supervision (e.g., IV therapy, stress tests) when assigned.
