Job summary

Kaiser Permanente in Georgia seeks an experienced Staff Registered Nurse (RN) III to provide professional nursing care, in collaboration with the Health Care Team, to patients, members, and families. The incumbent will promote safe, high-quality, and efficient care within an integrated nursing model.

Requirements include an Associate degree in nursing, an active Georgia RN license, and BLS certification. A minimum of 3 years RN clinical experience with at least 2 years in the specialty is

Qualifications

• RN license in Georgia required (active at hire)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required at hire
• Minimum three (3) years of current RN clinical experience
• Minimum two (2) years of clinical experience in area of specialty

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to assess patient health status, determine nursing diagnosis, establish goals, and develop a plan of care.
• Completes POE and addresses care gaps during the patient encounter.
• Documents patient data, actions, interventions, and responses according to policy.
• Assists with procedures and monitors patient responses during and after procedures.
• Engages patients, families, and caregivers in coordinating care as a healthcare team member.
• Leads nursing response to medical emergencies.
