Job summary

Kaiser Permanente is seeking an experienced Staff RN III to provide professional nursing care in Georgia, guided by the Georgia practice act and organizational policies. You will collaborate with the Health Care Team to ensure safe, high-quality patient care and lead nursing responses to emergencies.

The role requires a minimum of 3 years RN experience, 2 years in a specialty area, and GA RN licensure with BLS at hire. Associates degree in nursing is required; BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum three (3) years of current RN clinical experience.
• Minimum two (2) years of clinical experience in area of specialty.
• Associates degree in nursing.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Registered Professional Nurse License (Georgia) required at hire.
• Basic Life Support required at hire.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient health status, determine nursing diagnoses, and develop, implement, and evaluate the plan of care.
• Document patient data, actions, and response to treatment according to policies.
• Assist with procedures and monitor patient response during and after procedures.
• Lead nursing responses to medical emergencies and coordinate care with the health care team.
• Provide patient education and counseling, and follow up with patients after visits.
• Participate in quality improvement activities and staff training.
