Job summary

Methodist Hospital Westover Hills in San Antonio, TX, is seeking a Registered Nurse II PRN Labor & Delivery to join a hospital committed to community service and exceptional patient care. Required qualifications include an RN license and an Associate Degree, with ACLS, BCLS, and NRP obtained within specified timeframes; at least 1 year of acute

Qualifications

• ACLS must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
• BCLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Neonate Resuscitate must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
• RN Registered Nurse
• 1 year RN acute care experience in the designated area

Responsibilities

• Advocate for patients and families and apply the nursing process using critical thinking and leadership to deliver safe nursing care
• Collaborate with the patient care team to achieve quality outcomes in alignment with hospital mission and Methodist Excellence goals
• Maintain professional nursing standards as per Texas Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies
