Qualifications

• Work experience: 2 years L&D RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to hospital standards to promote a cooperative work environment.
• Assumes nursing components of patient/family/significant other education.
• Communicates with the team, patients, and families and evaluates understanding of information.
• Maintains a safe and therapeutic environment for patients, staff, and facility.
• Ensures complete, accurate, and timely written communication of patient information.
• Responsible for safe, accurate, and timely medication and IV administration.
• Demonstrates initiative for performance, growth, and development.
• Utilizes the nursing process to ensure quality patient care throughout the episode of care.
• Other duties as assigned.
