Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of education program approved by the credentialing body for the required credential(s) indicated below in the Certifications, Licenses and Registrations section
• Twelve months RN experience in a healthcare environment
• RN license in Texas with PSV Compact or permanent TX license within 60 days
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, CPI certifications required within specified timeframes

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care and nursing assessments
• Collaborates with physicians and interprofessional team to coordinate care
• Leads unit activities, serves as charge nurse or preceptor
• Documents care plans and maintains medical records
• Participates in shared governance and quality/safety initiatives
