Qualifications

• RN requires licensure in Texas and eligibility for permanent license within 60 days if establishing residency.
• Twelve months RN experience in a healthcare setting.
• BLS certification (American Heart Association).
• ACLS certification (AHA) or Instructor.
• PALS certification (AHA) or Instructor (within 4 months).
• NIH Stroke Scale certification (AHA) or Instructor (within 4 months).
• NV‑CRISIS certification (CPI) or Instructor (within 4 months).

Responsibilities

• Conduct nursing assessments and assist with exams and treatments.
• Provide patient education and maintain medical records.
• Collaborate with physicians and interprofessional team to plan care.
• Assume leadership roles as charge nurse or preceptor when needed.
