Job summary

Qualifications

• Twelve months of RN experience in a healthcare setting.
• Texas RN licensure required; permanent Texas license within 60 days if establishing residency.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIH Stroke Scale, CPI/NVCRISIS certifications required or obtained within specified timeframes.

Responsibilities

• Provides professional nursing care and conducts nursing assessments.
• Administers medications and assists with exams and treatments.
• Educates patients and maintains medical records; coordinates care with physicians and interprofessional teams.
• Leads unit initiatives, serves as charge nurse or preceptor, and participates in governance and service line projects.
