Valley Health is seeking a Registered Nurse II (RN II) for a Nursing Float role in Virginia. You will perform comprehensive nursing care using the nursing process, collaborating with the health team to ensure quality communication, patient safety, and professional leadership.

The position requires an RN license with BLS, and advances require meeting mandatory competencies and unit initiatives. Education includes an RN diploma/ASN/ADN with BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Must hold RN license and BLS certification.
• RN II requires 1872 hours of RN experience (936 hours if BSN).

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care using the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, outcomes, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Demonstrate quality communication, teamwork, and leadership.
• Direct and coordinate patient teaching, quality/safety initiatives, and interactions with health team members.
