Job summary

Qualifications

• RN license required; Virginia license or eligibility.
• BLS certification (AHA) required for new hires.
• BSN preferred; 1872 hours or 936 hours if BSN holder and performance eval completed.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, outcomes, planning, evaluation.
• Coordinate care, ensure quality communication and teamwork.
• Lead patient teaching and safety initiatives; support unit leadership.
• Direct, coordinate, and implement unit activities as Charge/lead nurse.
