Texas Health Resources is seeking an RN II for the Resource Pool Float role in Bedford, TX. This full-time day shift supports floating between Observation, PCU/CSU and Medical-Surgical units, delivering holistic nursing care in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Eligibility requires a nursing diploma or higher; an RN license at hire, BCLS, ACLS as applicable, and CPI within established timelines. The role offers comprehensive benefits and a collaborative team culture.

Work hours:

Full Time (36 Hour) Days Shift; 7A-7P x3 shifts/week with rotating weekends, holidays, no on call

Department Highlights

• Resource Pool Specialty Nurse
• Floating between Observation, PCU/CSU, and Med Surg units

Education

• Nursing Diploma (nursing) required Or
• Associate's Degree Nursing required Or
• Bachelor's Degree Nursing preferred

Experience

• 1 year experience as a Registered Nurse or completion of an RN residency program required
• 1 year experience PCU as a Registered Nurse preferred

Licenses and Certifications

• RN - Registered Nurse upon hire required And
• BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required And
• ACLS- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (if required for float dept) 90 days required And
• CPI- Crisis Prevention Intervention Training maintained annually 90 days required And
• NIHSS- National Institute of Health Stroke Scale Certification 60 days required
