Texas Health Resources is hiring an RN II Charge for Med/Surg Tower 5 at the Bedford location. The role requires a nursing license, 1 year of RN acute care experience, and leadership abilities for a charge nurse position. Work hours are 36 hours per week, nights 7 PM-7 AM, with rotating weekends.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Monitor patient safety and comfort, coordinate care with the team.
• Collaborate with physicians and other health professionals.
• Document and communicate effectively with the care team.

Work location: Texas Health HEB: 1600 Hospital Parkway Bedford, TX 76022

Work hours: Full Time (36 Hour) Night Shift; 7P-7A x3 shifts per week to include rotating weekends

Here’s What You Need

Education

• Nursing Diploma (Nursing) required Or
• Associate's Degree Nursing required Or
• Bachelor's Degree Nursing preferred

Experience

• 1 year experience as a Registered Nurse in an acute care setting required
• Leadership experience preferred

Licenses and Certifications

• RN - Registered Nurse upon hire required And
• BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly upon hire required And
• CPI- Crisis Prevention Intervention Training maintained annually 90 days required
