Job summary

Texas Health HEB in Bedford, TX is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Intermediate Unit. This full-time night shift (7:00pm–7:00am) offers team-based care in a supportive environment with strong benefits and growth opportunities.

Minimum qualifications include a nursing diploma or associate degree (bachelor's preferred) and RN licensure at hire, plus BCLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and CPI certifications with required timelines.

Qualifications

• Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree in Nursing; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• 1 year experience as a Registered Nurse or completion of an RN residency program required.
• 1 year of previous PCU experience preferred.
• RN - Registered Nurse upon hire required; BCLS certification prior to independent patient care and maintained quarterly required.
• ACLS within 90 days required; NIHSS certification within 30 days; CPI training maintained annually within 60 days.

• Respond to patient safety, physical, psychological and social needs.
• Honor patient worth with unconditional acceptance.
• Understand patient perspectives and adapt care accordingly.
• Involve family/caregivers in health care decisions when appropriate.

• Nursing Diploma Nursing required OR
