Job summary

Community Hospital of Huntington Park in Huntington Park, CA is seeking a Registered Nurse II for full-time, 12-hour shifts from 3pm to 3am. Base pay ranges from $45.16 to $66.40 per hour with overtime paid after 8 hours, and a $10,000 sign-on/retention bonus for full-time staff.

The RN will coordinate patient-centered care, educate patients and families, and collaborate with the healthcare team to maintain high nursing standards in a fast-paced Emergency/Medical setting.

Qualifications

• 1 year nursing experience preferred.
• Must hold an active RN license and BLS certification.
• Ability to work 12 hour shifts and weekends as required.

Responsibilities

• Change dressings, insert catheters, and start IVs.
• Monitor vital signs and report adverse reactions.
• Administer medications with accuracy and according to policy.
• Coordinate patient care with multidisciplinary team and document in EMR.
