Job summary

St. Peter's Hospital, part of Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic, is seeking a full-time RN II for our Cancer Care group. This role emphasizes patient-centered care, adherence to nursing processes, and collaboration within a mission-driven team.

Qualifications

• 6 months RN experience or more
• BSN degree required
• Current NYS RN license
• Basic Life Support certification (BLS)

Responsibilities

• Take vital signs and document in EMR.
• Review and update medication list for accuracy in EMR.
• Complete referrals and track patient compliance.
• Review prescriptions electronically and route to providers.
• Obtain patient consent for procedures as directed by provider.
• Engage in pre-visit planning and quality metric reviews.
• Educate patients on medications and home care techniques.
• Maintain clean, safe care areas and proper labeling of specimens.
