Job summary

St. Peter’s Health Partners is seeking a Clinical Observation RN II for a full-time night shift to join our team at St. Peter’s Hospital. You will develop into a well-rounded RN with exposure to multiple disease processes and participate in a strong orientation and clinical ladder program.

Responsibilities include triage based on clinical presentation and caring for patients post heart catheterization, with opportunities to advance toward ER nursing as you gain experience.

Qualifications

• A current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of New York.
• ASN required; BSN preferred.
• RN must be able to assess, plan, direct, intervene and evaluate patient care.
• The RN must communicate effectively, verbally and written.

Responsibilities

• Learn to triage based on clinical presentation.
• Care for patients post heart catheterization, heart arrhythmia treatments, CHF, surgical and medical patients.
• Expand skill sets with various procedures and patient care activities as part of orientation.
