Job summary

Penn Medicine is seeking an experienced Clinical Nurse 2 to join our nursing team. The RN practices as a full partner on the health care team, providing age-appropriate, evidence-based care and communicating effectively with patients, families, and team members.

The Clinical Nurse 2 will work with inter-professional teams to deliver safe, high-quality patient care, following the nursing process and organizational standards. Orientation and ongoing professional development are provided.

Qualifications

• Licensed PA RN in good standing
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in Nursing or related field
• 1+ years of clinical experience preferred; orientation provided

Responsibilities

• Provide age-appropriate nursing care across patient populations; apply the nursing process.
• Perform venipuncture and peripheral/central venous access care as required.
• Collaborate with inter-professional health care team; communicate with patients and families.
• Document patient care accurately and timely per policy and procedures.
